How long does it take?
Every remodel is different, most will be completed 2-4 weeks

Demo - 1/2 Days
Demo normally takes 1 - 2 days. Everything will be removed and walls taken down to studs.

Plumbing / Electrical - 1 Day
Once the guts of the framing is available, any plumbing, framing, electrical can be modified/ added.

Drywall hanging - 1 Day
Drywall goes up and first of three joint compound can will be added. The 2nd and 3rd coat will be done during the next few days.

Underlayments/ Waterproofing - 1 -2 days
The foundation of a leakproof bath is waterproofing. This is also where the shower pan will be installed. Customer shower pans, are required to have a 24 hour flood test prior to installing tile.

Tile - 3 -4 days
This is the step where you will be able to start seeing the bathroom come back.

Utility Installation - 1 - 2 Days
Toilet / Vanity Etc. is installed

Glass Door install - 1 day
Glass doors are custom made once the shower has been tiled, normal turn around is 1 week, therefore a shower door is installed a week after shower is tiled. (Only applied to tiled jobs)

Is it messy?
Short answer is Yes.
Air vents are blocked and plastic dust barriers is set up before demo is started to try and minimize the dust but the process creates dust and it is unavoidable to completely isolate it to the bathroom.

Do I need to buy anything?
Everything is outlined in the quote but a general rule is any building material, TLD will provide, any of the personalized items such as tile is provided by the homeowner.
